Our Story

MOMAH International Realty was founded by three partners who share a conviction: luxury real estate deserves a more discreet and a more personalised approach.
With over twenty years of combined experience in the Algarve's most prestigious markets, more specifically the Golden Triangle, we understand that exceptional properties require exceptional service. We understand that our clients value privacy, expertise and access to opportunities that never reach the market. The Algarve has always attracted people of exceptional taste. We felt that what was missing was an agency to fill that gap in the market, hence we founded MOMAH. Our name reflects our philosophy. MOMAH - an acronym drawn from our names - represents the personal nature of our work.

Mohamed Azziz
Founding Partner
With a degree in Electronic Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico, in Lisbon and a Master's in Engineering and Industrial Management. Went to work in China for international companies to gain experience and expertise in the area.
After, he joined Portugal Sotheby's. His time there was marked by consistent and measurable results, being awarded several prizes and becoming nº 1 in Sales in Portugal, with focus on the Golden Triangle.
Clients that worked with Mohamed highlighted the trust, the candour and the ability to move things forward that never felt like pressure. He has a natural ease in business that people gravitate towards and a genuine commitment to the relationships he builds along the way.
Margarida Laires
Founding Partner
With a degree in International Hospitality and Tourism Management, from the University of Surrey (UK), she worked with several international hotel chains across different countries, gaining extensive experience in global hospitality operations. Later founded and managed, her own tourism company in Lisbon, for over 10 years, developing a strong entrepreneurial foundation and deep knowledge of the local market. Following this, she worked in the real estate market, where she spent five years working with Sotheby's in the Algarve, further expanding her expertise in the high-end market and luxury services.
Margarida, has an intuitive understanding of lifestyle preferences and excels, at matching discerning buyers, with exclusive properties, that reflect both taste and aspiration.
Ricardo Horta
Founding Partner
Graduated in Equipment Design from IADE University, he has over 15 years of experience in Design, Construction, and Real Estate. Passionate about creating unique projects and turning clients' visions into reality, he founded Rpidesign with the goal of delivering personalized and high-quality solutions.
Since 2012, his career has been strongly connected to the luxury real estate sector in the Algarve, combining his background in Design with experience as a Private Broker for an internationally prestigious company.
Ricardo specializes in representing and advising clients in the luxury market across the Algarve's most exclusive locations, alongside partners with extensive experience in the sector.
